Waylon attended his first yoga class in 2011. He first used yoga to pass the time because of a low snow year and he couldn’t go skiing. He soon discovered what an important role yoga played in his life. With the combination of overcoming his childhood home burning down in a forest fire and attending a yoga festival in 2012, he knew he wanted to become a yoga instructor and share what he had found with yoga.
connecting with the emotional and mental body. Waylon’s classes can be challenging, but with his sense of humor, he can make anyone feel welcome. Waylon believes that with a steady yoga practice we can learn to overcome obstacles in our life. When we overcome something we find challenging on our mat, we can take that same attitude out of the studio into our everyday lives. When we learn to use the breath to work through a challenging pose we can use that same breath to work through anything our daily lives present to us.

I am certified with the International Barre Association. My passion for teaching consists of 25+ years of various types of dance and performing arts. I love helping people feel good through movement. Five years ago, I began the journey of body building, competing in many competitions as an NPC bikini competitor.
